2 cans black beans, drained
1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
2 cans (14 oz each) tomatoes (stewed or diced) including liquid
1 - 2 teaspoons chili powder
a sprinkle of black pepper
Put all ingredients in crockpot and heat on low for 5 - 6 hours.
Alternate version - put all ingredients into large pot, bring to simmer, then reduce heat to low and heat about 30 minutes until heated through and the turkey takes on the color from the tomatoes. I serve with grated cheddar cheese and fritos or tortilla chips.
