MARGE’S AMERICAN CHOP SUEY

 1/4 c vegetable oil
1 large onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 rib celery diced
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 cans tomato soup
2 cans water
1/4 c to 1 c pasta sauce
2 cups macaroni (uncooked)
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 can petite diced tomatoes if desired

Heat oil, cook onion, pepper, and celery.  Add ground beef. Cook. Drain off fat.  Add uncooked pasta, tomato soup, water, pasta sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix well.  Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
