PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups confectioner's sugar
3 - 4 Tablespoons milk
1 tsp vanilla

Using an electric mixer, beat butter in large bowl until creamy. Scrape sides of bowl, add peanut butter and beat again. Scrape down sides, add half of the confectioner's sugar and beat until smooth. Add remaining confectioner's sugar, vanilla, and 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk. Beat. Add more milk as necessary to bring frosting to spreading consistency. Makes enough icing to fill and frost a 9" round, two layer cake.
