1 large head of broccoli, broken into bite size pieces (4 cups of broccoli florets)
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup raisins or dried cranberries
8 strips of bacon
Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1. Cook the bacon until crisp. Lay on paper towel to absorb fat.
2. Combine broccoli pieces, cheese, onion and raisins in bowl.
3. Crumble bacon over mixture and stir to mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine dressing ingredients until smooth. Pour over broccoli mixture. Stir well.
5. Refrigerate until serving.
