EASY ALFREDO SAUCE
1/4 cup butter
3/4 tsp minced garlic
1 cup milk (I use 1%)
1/2 - 3/4 cup grated parmesan (I use the dry stuff that comes in a can but fresh is better)
1/8 tsp pepper
2 Tbsps flour
1/4 cup milk
8 oz pasta, cooked and drained
Melt butter in saucepan and add garlic. Saute a couple of minutes but don't let the garlic brown. Add milk, cheese and pepper. Stir until well mixed and cheese softens. Combine 2 Tbsps flour and 1/4 cup milk in a jar with a tight fitting lid and shake to combine. Stir flour/milk mixture into cheese mixture over low-medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Pour over cooked pasta and serve. Makes 4 servings.
